The Maven has been on the earth for over three-quarters of a century and encountered a new word today.
That word is "speedrun".
So, the old fart Media Maven has learned a new word. BFD, right?
What the Maven does not understand how that word appeared in a TV news news story about a donation dispute over a pickup truck, which, apparently has nothing to do with intense video-gaming.
The Maven's vocabulary has now been expanded by one word...but has become even more confused.
